This is a single mother and her young daughter who are victim-survivors of FDV and have recently experienced homelessness and housing instability. While the family was without stable housing, their belongings were stored at an extended family member’s property. Unfortunately, the property was affected by a house fire, resulting in the loss of their belongings. The family has now secured a Department of Housing property and is preparing to move into an empty home. They currently have very limited essential household items and require beds and white goods for the mother and her daughter. Support from GIVEIT through furniture or white goods vouchers/donations would make a significant practical difference and help this family establish a safe, stable and comfortable home.
