Our Client continues to experience the ongoing impacts of family and domestic violence, including significant trauma, serious mental health challenges, and persistent financial abuse from several family members. This financial abuse places her under considerable strain, as family members frequently take advantage of her generous nature. As a result, she is often left with limited financial capacity and has relied on Buy Now Pay Later arrangements to meet essential living costs and urgent household needs.
To reduce the risk of further financial hardship, we are seeking support through GIVIT for essential household items. She has identified an urgent need for a new freezer and a couch, as well as vouchers for food and fuel. Providing these items through donation will prevent her from needing to access BNPL products and will significantly support her efforts to stabilise her household and maintain financial safety.
