I am supporting a single mother with 4 children aged under 14. Mother has fled New South Wales to QLD due to domestic and family violence. Mother and children have been residing in transitional accommodation in a 1 room motel room.
Mother and children have been accepted of a private rental 10 hours away from their current accommodation to a rural community. We are seeking support in food and fuel vouchers to move from transitional housing to her new rental. The person using violence has determined the location of the mother and children and is protected by a DVO and is seeking assistance to relocate as soon as possible. Fuel and Food vouchers would make a big impact for this family.
