Car window repair required for rough sleeper

Client is currently rough sleeping in a car, the car window has been smashed due to the weather recently. The quote for a window replacement is $450 installed. This is the clients mode of transport and their current home. Due to winter coming up, weather getting colder, and rain, the window is not currently waterproof and risks being deemed unroadworthy as well, putting their accommodation at risk whilst we work on obtaining housing.
