Palliative care client, 92 yrs, recently lost her husband unexpectedly, then she was diagnosed with cancer. Her husband was her carer. Her son recently came to get her affairs in order but now has turned his back on her. She has no other support available as her MAC is still pending. She's currently in hospital and they don't want her to leave until she starts putting on weight. If we can buy her some prepared meals for her until her MAC funding is approved, this would help her build some strength back and be able to do more around the house.
