51-year-old man who's experienced homelessness, poverty and marginalisation the majority of his life.
Other hardship(s)
Client experienced early childhood trauma that led to rough sleeping as a young person in Perth. Client has experienced marginalisation through homelessness, poverty and had to self-medicate through AOD. Client is articulate, wise and has a great sense of humour. Client is particularly positive on his outlook on life and past experiences despite severe disadvantage. Client is now in crisis accommodation and has successfully been accepted into a trauma informed 3-years intensive case management and peer support program which includes being offered a public housing property within the first 12 months of the program. Client is a talented artist and enjoys painting and drawing. Client is seeking support to buy a blank canvas so he can continue to draw and paint in a safe space in his crisis accommodation.
