This Aboriginal woman is currently experiencing homelessness and acute financial hardship, leaving her without consistent access to food and other basic necessities.
She has been actively linked with support services, and referrals have been made for financial counselling and emergency relief assistance. However, due to the festive season, these services are unable to provide support until at least next week, creating a critical gap in assistance.
During this period, the lack of immediate resources has placed significant strain on her wellbeing. Rising living costs, combined with housing instability, have made day to day survival increasingly difficult despite her efforts to seek help.
Short-term support at this time would help bridge the gap until formal assistance becomes available, easing immediate hardship and allowing her to maintain dignity and stability while working towards longer-term solutions.
