Incarceration when young due to addiction and violence. Entered a toxic relationship where DV was regularly occurring from both sides. Started to seek assistance to change current circumstances and was attacked by partner for attempting to leave. Repeatedly stabbed with a pencil in most recent incident.
Fled the relationship but has since experienced homelessness. Limited social supports available, resulting in return to childhood town. Isolated and scared after the trauma they experienced.
Still recovering from addiction and attempting to heal mental health. Linked to services for support but belongings were recently stolen, even clothing. due to loss of phone is unable to retain contact with support services and relies purely on verbal communication with a community centre. This has caused missed appointments and is detrimental to current needs.
