Seeking donation of a smart phone for a client in DV situation

Client is from culturally diverse background and currently experiencing coercive control, emotional as well as financial abuse from her husband. She also has multiple chronic health issues. She owns a very old feature phone that does not have internet capability. She does not have the financial capacity to purchase a smartphone. Without access to an internet enabled phone, she is unable to independently seek information, access online resources, or explore available supports. She speaks English well and aims to gradually build her confidence and self-esteem through education and access to appropriate resources.
A smartphone would also enable client to maintain contact with her family overseas via internet-based communication, which is currently limited due to the high cost of international phone calls.
