The student requires additional support due to the significant challenges she is facing in her final year of school. She is living with a disability and has been placed in the care of her brother, who has been abusive and unable to provide her with the emotional, financial, or practical support she needs. Her living conditions are unstable, as she has been sleeping on a couch in the shared living room and has no access to personal finances or essential resources. Despite these hardships, she remains motivated to complete Year 12 and is eager to explore new opportunities that will help her move toward independent living and improve her circumstances. With the guidance of her teachers, she is gradually developing confidence, learning to advocate for her needs, and building the skills necessary to navigate her situation more safely and independently.
