This young person has recently secured his first stable home after a prolonged period of housing instability and hardship. At 19, he has very limited informal supports and is experiencing ongoing financial pressure while working toward independence.
Due to this instability, he has been unable to retain any household belongings and will be moving into the property with no essential items. This presents a significant barrier to establishing a safe and functional home.
We have explored available supports and made referrals to relevant services; however, due to limited resources and eligibility constraints, they have been unable to provide financial or material assistance.
This is a critical opportunity to support him in maintaining his tenancy, establishing routine, and building long-term stability and independence
