Lost everything in the Vic Jan 2026 Bushfires, a bit of help will lift their spirits
2026 Victoria Bushfires
This couple lost their home and contents in bushfire in January 2026. They previously loved living in their quiet and rural location and thought they would be able to stay for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately they lost the lot in the bushfires and have a long road ahead to recover. They are a very capable and self sufficient couple, however now a few months after the fire and facing some hurdles with the clean up of the debris, fencing, trees etc and having the cold and wet weather come along, they need a bit of help to lift their spirits. They are facing financial difficulties associated with clearing trees and repairing fences etc., also had to replace all their clothes and personal items. They lost all their tools and machinery in the fire as well so that also makes cleaning up the property challenging.
