Single mum of 3 kids with additional needs, 2 under 15. They are all highly intelligent but need a little extra social support. For the mum, this involves not only providing extra personal attention to their needs but organising and liaising with disability supports x3, communicating with schools, and homeschooling the youngest boy who finds the school environment overwhelming.
The kids also have ongoing medical investigations and specialist appointments across the city, and sometimes require emergency medical responses. The mum also has health needs that can unexpectedly involve hospitalisation.
She is a kind and resourceful person who is battling through many difficulties. She relies on a working phone to make life more manageable on the go by managing appointments, contacts, banking, and safety. She had a second-hand iphone that recently broke down and Apple systems are what she knows, is comfortable with and her data can easily be transferred.
