Single mum with PhD unemployed, in pain and struggling with rent while supporting daughter through Year 12.

49yo single mother is doing everything she can to support her daughter through Year 12 while facing mounting financial & health challenges. After returning to Australia in 2023, she withdrew her superannuation just to rebuild a stable life & keep her daughter’s education on track. That safety net is now gone.
Despite holding a PhD in Commerce, she has been unable to secure steady employment. She is falling behind on rent, struggling to afford groceries & basic necessities, & living with constant financial stress. At the same time, severe sciatica leaves her in daily pain, unable to stand for long periods. She urgently needs physiotherapy & supportive footwear to manage her condition, but cannot afford treatment.
Her daughter is preparing for her HSC & needs a laptop to complete her studies & exams. This mother is determined to give her child every opportunity, but she cannot do it alone. Support would ease immediate hardship & help secure a stable future for both of them.
