Aged pensioner with a life limiting condition and requires complex medical needs has been affected by the January 2026 Victorian bushfires. This consumer was lucky enough to have their house saved; however, they had a car destroyed, caravan, equipment/tools, and all fences were burnt down. They need to travel long distances for medical appointments and are find it impossible to put any money aside to repair the damage caused by the fires. They are underinsured and they are not receiving any assistance from the insurance company.
I am requesting some assistance for fuel and rural supplies so they can rebuild some of what was destroyed.
