This young mum has already overcome more than most people face in a lifetime.
After leaving a domestic violence situation, she made the courageous decision to start over with her two young children. Since then, she has worked incredibly hard to rebuild their lives. She has secured safe housing, pays her rent on time, and has started working to help rebuild her and the children's new safe lives together.
Despite everything she has achieved, life has recently thrown another challenge her way. She has had to undergo serious surgery on her uterus, leaving her unable to work temporarily and facing unexpected medical and household expenses. As a result, some overdue bills have begun to accumulate, placing additional pressure on a family that has already endured so much.
To make things even more difficult, her youngest child's birthday is next week. Like every parent, she simply wants to make the day feel special, but right now she is focused on stretching every dollar to cover essentials.
