The client is a 23-year-old newly arrived migrant experiencing significant financial hardship. She is currently ineligible for Centrelink payments due to her visa status. The client resides with her mother and two younger sisters, and as the eldest daughter, she carries the main responsibility of supporting the household.
She is actively seeking employment; however, her lack of a driver’s licence has been a major barrier to securing job opportunities. Having access to driving lessons would considerably improve her chances of gaining stable employment and, in turn, help her provide for her family.
Given her circumstances, the client would greatly benefit from financial support to fund at least 10 driving lessons. This assistance would be a crucial step toward her achieving independence, employment, and long-term stability for her family.
