This woman is living with chronic illness, persistent pain, and mental health challenges, making it difficult to meet even her most basic daily needs. Since September 2025, she has been forced to take cold showers as she cannot afford to refill her gas bottle.
At $210, the cost is currently out of reach. I have explored all available options for emergency relief, however there is no funding available for this need, she is not even able to access a concession for a bas bottle like other utilities.
She is based in Kojonup and is doing her best to manage extremely challenging circumstances with very limited resources. Access to hot water would make a significant difference to her health, comfort, and dignity.
