Young student needing bike for transport to school

Young year 6 student who lives 2kms from School is late to school daily due to his single mother getting the other younger children in her care dressed and ready for school then catch the bus. Student was riding to school however has had a massive growth spirt and is now to big for his bike. The family have experienced DFV and are experiencing financial hardship. The young boy is now 12years old and wants some independence to transport himself to and from school daily.
