Repairs

My client is an older woman who experienced significant loss following major flooding, which resulted in the destruction of her home and personal belongings. After the disaster, due to ongoing financial limitations she made the decision to use her life savings to purchase a cheap motorhome as housing solution. My client has chronic physical health conditions as well as complex mental health challenges, which significantly impact her day to day functioning. Despite our efforts, we have been unable to secure other housing option and now her current temporary housing situation coming to an end, she is at risk of homelessness. At present, the motorhome requires essential repairs and safety upgrades to make it suitable and safe for permanent living. These include repairing the hot water system, electrical faults, and improving security features. Supporting these repairs would provide my client with a safe, stable, and dignified living environment.
