My elderly client was flood impact in Lismore in the 2022 flood event. He lost everything he owns and become homeless as a result. He was placed in a pod at the pod village until he was able to secure a social housing unit.
Due to losing everything in the flood event he has no furniture and requires some assistance with the basics to get his unit set up. My client is an elderly gentleman who worked hard all his life. He has been left with nothing.
