A young man with spinal cord injury urgently needs shopping vouchers
GIVIT
Our client sustained a spinal cord injury in December 2025 and is due to be discharged shortly from the Spinal Injuries Unit Hospital and is seeking assistance through GIVIT.
He has been unable to work since being an inpatient, and it remains unclear if he can return to the workforce.
He uses a wheelchair and soon will be transitioning into a newly secured accessible unit for people with disabilities, and has very limited household items. To support his initial setup, we are requesting assistance in the form of a shopping voucher.
A shopping voucher of approximately $200 would assist him in purchasing essential household items, including basic cooking and cleaning supplies, to help him establish his new home safely and independently.
We kindly ask for your assistance in helping him obtain the essential household items required to establish a safe, functional, and dignified living environment in his new home.
