This family of five is facing financial hardship due to unexpected medical issues affecting both parents. The mother has been on unpaid leave since May, and the father is currently unfit for work due to his own health condition. This sudden loss of income has led to rent arrears and difficulty covering essential expenses.
The family now has applied for Centrelink support and is engaging with services; however, payments have not yet commenced. In the meantime, they are unable to afford groceries, medication, fuel, and phone bills.
They are seeking urgent assistance with grocery, pharmacy, and fuel vouchers to meet basic needs. Support will help stabilise the family during this period, particularly as they care for three children, including one with a disability, while awaiting Centrelink payments and an upcoming ACAT for rent arrears.
