This client is a victim-survivor of family violence from Sudan. Despite her complex trauma and mental health challenges, she is incredibly resilient & is trying to build a safe life for herself and her children. She lives in public housing & recently faced unexpected expenses due to the perpetrator threatening her at her home, which caused her to flee & self-fund alternative housing. She has now returned & is short on money for groceries. Additionally, her two school aged children are in need of better clothing for the winter. This client is currently trying hard to save for driving lessons & complete a diploma online, so as to become more independent. She is requesting a Coles-Myer voucher, so she can choose to spend on clothes and/or groceries as necessary.
