We discovered a Young woman who has severe eating disorders/ mental health issues, living uninhabitable accomodation.

We were engaged in a routine living support visit to find a young woman who has suffered a chronic and life-threatening eating disorder, along with associated mental health issues, and is living in self-supported shared accommodation. As part of a support visit, we noticed that the house she has been subleasing has extreme mould and damp issues, resulting in a large proportion of her possessions either destroyed or in need of deep cleaning for mould. In particular, of most concern is her mattress, whose base is completely covered in thick mould, as well as all the bed slats. There are various other items of furniture that seem to be beyond saving, and much of her bedding and clothing, which were contained within her wardrobe, are unsalvageable. We would like to source a new mattress for her as well as some of her furniture (especially soft furnishings like lounge), together with items of bed linen that will be difficult to clean.
