After escaping domestic violence of many years, this mother made the heartbreaking choice to leave everything behind to keep her three children safe. With only a few belongings and nowhere to call home, the family entered transitional accommodation and began the difficult journey of starting over.
She now faces each day carrying the weight of trauma, uncertainty, and financial hardship, while doing everything she can to give her children a sense of safety and normality. Despite her strength, she will not able to rebuild her life alone without support from community.
