Request for Security Camera to Improve Safety Following Family Violence Incident

The client, who arrived in Australia in 2023 with her children, has experienced ongoing family violence perpetrated by her son. The son has physically assaulted the client, her mother, and her three adult siblings, and has also caused significant damage to the family home.
A full Intervention Order (IVO) is currently in place, and the PUV has been removed from the home. Despite this, the client continues to feel unsafe and fearful for her safety and the safety of her daughters, particularly due to concerns that the PUV may return to the property.
As the client is currently renting, she is limited in making permanent modifications to the property. She is therefore requesting a non-invasive security solution, such as a wireless security camera or Ring video doorbell. This would allow her to monitor who is at the entrance of the home without needing to open the door, providing an important sense of control and safety.
