This young person has a significant history of housing instability, exposure to FDV, exposure to parental substance misuse and parental incarceration. This has resulted in periods of them sleeping in vacant car yards or parks due to a total lack of other options. This young person has navigated legal challenges, trauma and low mental health but despite this remain resilient, respectful and determined to create a positive future for themselves. This young person will soon be starting a TradeStart course which they are extremely excited for and have worked very hard to improve their literacy and numeracy skills so they are ready to do this course. Following course completion, they plan to pursue a carpentry pre-apprenticeship. Your generous support is greatly appreciated.
