The family was uninsured, so have limited resources to support them in their recovery from the disaster. The disaster has significantly impacted their wellbeing, sense of security and stability. It has also impacted on their capacity to work and has destroyed equipment essential for their employment.
This funding will help the family to replace some of this equipment, enabling them to re-commence employment. It will also assist with reducing some of the financial hardships associated with rebuilding a life post-disaster.
