Mother & her young son were forced to flee their previous home due to experiencing family violence. In order to leave safely, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to leave behind most of their personal belongings. Following their escape, the family spent the last month moving between crisis accommodation while working tirelessly to secure long-term housing.
We are pleased to share that they have now secured a rental property of their own & are taking an important step forward in rebuilding their lives. However, the financial burden of securing the property has exhausted their funds, leaving them without the means to purchase essential furniture & white goods.
Our client’s sole priority is to create a safe, stable & nurturing home for her son—one where he can begin to heal from the trauma he has endured and feel a sense of normalcy and security again. Any donations toward furnishing their new home would make a meaningful difference in helping move forward with dignity and hope.
