After giving birth, this young mother was placed in a property to support her and her newborn during a vulnerable time. Although she was estranged from her former partner, he was able to locate her and began making serious threats, placing both her and her baby at risk. A Domestic Violence Order was put in place, and he was arrested, but the safety concerns remain significant.
With support from multiple services, advocacy has been ongoing to secure safer housing through the Department of Housing. A new property has now been sourced, offering her and her child a chance to live free from fear.
She now urgently needs support with essential household items and supplies to relocate and create a safe, stable, and nurturing home for her newborn. Your support will help her rebuild her life and ensure her child grows up in a secure and protected environment.
