72 year old woman receiving the Disability Support Pension. She is living alone after leaving a family and domestic violence relationship of 35 years. She experiences PTSD, anxiety, osteoporosis, and other ongoing health conditions, which affect her daily living and independence. She also identifies as a Forgotten Australian.
She is experiencing financial hardship and has limited capacity to replace essential household items. Due to her health conditions, she is unable to hand wash heavier items and is currently relying on community services to have her laundry washed. She is actively engaged with local support services while working to maintain her independence despite her ongoing challenges.
Any support that can be provided to assist her would be greatly appreciated.
