GIVIT
This individual is living with chronic illness, severe depression and is socially isolated. Seeking support to purchase a mobility walker. He is currently unable to leave the house on his own and often spends the day in bed. His mental health is severely impacted, and he experiences extreme isolation and is unable to access community or professional supports due to his physical and mental health conditions. Financial hardship adds further strain, with limited resources and no capacity to improve the situation independently. His carer is struggling to support him to attend appointments due to her poor mobility. She is on DSP and needs to use a walking aid herself. A mobility walker would enable him to leave the home on his own and to go out more easily with his carer. This urgently needed support would help improve his mood and general wellbeing.
