Requesting assistance for a mother and her 17y.o son who are currently experiencing financial hardship. The family recently left a previous housing situation due to family and domestic violence & are now living in shared accommodation. Mother is working casually to cover rent & basic expenses; however, her income is limited & unstable. At present, they are not eligible for government benefits as they are awaiting the outcome of their permanent residency application. The son is in his final year of high school and is committed to completing his education. He does not have access to a laptop, which is essential for his studies, assignments, & exam preparation. Access to this resource would make a significant difference in his ability to succeed academically. In addition, the family is struggling to meet day-to-day living costs, particularly groceries. Any assistance you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated & would have a meaningful impact on this family’s wellbeing & future.
