This young person is facing a challenging situation and lacks access to reliable basic resources needed to fully participate in their schooling. Their current school shoes are extremely worn, with the soles coming apart, making them uncomfortable and unsuitable for daily use. Despite being resourceful and making efforts to find replacements through op shops, they have been unable to secure shoes that are appropriate and durable for school that are lasting more than a month or two. Attending school without safe, intact footwear can impact their comfort, confidence, and wellbeing, adding unnecessary stress to their daily education experience.
