This mother and her 3-month-old baby are rebuilding their lives after escaping significant family and domestic violence. They are currently living in refuge accommodation and working towards safety and stability following a traumatic period.
The mother is experiencing ongoing health challenges which affect her daily functioning and ability to manage physically demanding tasks. Her baby also has health concerns and requires additional care and support. As a result of their circumstances, the family is experiencing severe financial hardship and is unable to meet costs beyond their most essential day-to-day needs.
Despite these challenges, the mother remains focused on providing a safe and nurturing environment for her child and is actively engaging with support services to create a more secure future. Assistance from donors would help reduce some of the pressures this family is facing during a critical stage of their recovery.
