Easing the pressures for teen and young mums.

First Nations Support
Domestic & Family Violence
Over recent months, we have seen a significant increase in the number of mothers attending our teen and young mums program who are experiencing financial hardship. Rising grocery prices and the increasing cost of essential baby items, particularly nappies, are placing enormous pressure on families who are already doing their best to make ends meet. Program is a free, strengths-based parenting and peer support program that provides connection, practical support, and pathways to education, employment and community participation. For many of the mums who attend, This is their village, a place where they feel safe, supported and connected. These vouchers will help families purchase essential items such as nappies, wipes and groceries, while also creating a welcoming first experience for mums joining the program. By reducing immediate financial pressure, we can encourage ongoing participation, helping to ease the pressures for young mums so they have space to focus on their families.
