This father and teenage son are taking huge steps towards leading a positive life. Dad's resilience and unwavering determination to rise above past patterns of behavior and trauma to navigate the justice and child safety system to bring his son back to a nurturing and loving home. despite both of their experiences with incarceration, systematic racial discrimination and history of trauma they're on a committed path to turning a new leaf and living the family life they always dreamed of.
sharing passions in cooking, boxing and music they continue to deepen their father and son bond. this family have made the foundational steps towards solidifying their new path, recently obtaining a long-term home, son's release from unjust incarceration and engagement with support services to enhance their tools to build this new path.
