This client is a mother of three school-aged children with additional needs. The family recently fled family violence. The client is also living with the long-term effects of a severe workplace injury that resulted in spinal injuries. She uses a wheelchair and other mobility aids, adding additional difficulty to her responsibilities as the sole carer of her children.
When the family left, her ex-partner did not allow her to return to collect the children's belongings, including most of their clothing. As a result, she is now faced with the significant cost of replacing all clothing and essential items for all three children while experiencing severe financial hardship.
The client is requesting Kmart vouchers to help purchase everyday clothing, school clothing, and other school essentials for her children and is very grateful for any support.
