Elderly Veteran requiring support
First Nations Support
75yr old Aboriginal man, Veteran who served the country.
Has recently been safely housed and moved in with his humble belongings. He has never had a microwave before as it hasn't been needed.
He has recently had a hip replacement and is scheduled for a double knee replacement in the coming months. We are hoping to get him a microwave so that he can heat up prepared frozen meals during his recovery period.
As he lives alone, this will significantly help with ensuring he is eating regular meals.
The space for a microwave is quite small- 600mm wide by 500mm height. So only requires something small to do what is required.
