Every week, individuals and families who have experienced domestic and family violence reach out for support during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Many arrive with very few belongings, having had to leave their homes quickly to stay safe.
Clothing donations play a vital role in helping people regain a sense of stability, comfort, and dignity. However, without appropriate ways to organise and display these donations, accessing suitable clothing can become overwhelming for clients who are already navigating trauma.
Improving how donated clothing is stored and presented will help create a calmer, more respectful environment where people can choose what they need with ease.
