Young Person Seeking Support to Access Educational Essentials
Domestic & Family Violence
I am currently supporting a young person who is facing a myriad of struggles including domestic family violence, financial insecurity, and challenges with their mental health. They have a lengthy trauma history which involved them moving through the Child Safety system at a young age, which can be heart breaking for young people. This young person despite the adversity they have faced and continues to face remains focused on their education with goals to work towards social work or psychology to give back to the community. This young person actively engages with their supports to work towards improving their future and are a delight, with everyone hoping to see them succeed. They are a remarkable young person, however due to challenges at home and financial insecurity they are not able to afford a laptop, which is an important requirement for their education.
