Victim survivor of family violence needs support to live in her home safely

Woman and mother, who was impacted by family violence throughout her marriage, has finally been able to leave the relationship and start a new life away from ex-husband. The separation and legal costs have significantly impacted her financial capacity and even though she is able to work part time, she is struggling to pay for unexpected costs. Client is also unpaid carer for her elderly father, and this limits her capacity to work extra shifts. Client is thankful she has been able to continue living in the family home however continues to pay a mortgage and there is significant maintenance required. Client would like to undertake the house repairs herself and would be very grateful for the support of some Bunnings vouchers to assist her in this.
