A newly arrived migrant family consisting of a single mother and six children is currently facing financial hardship. The mother is the sole provider and is finding it difficult to meet the family’s essential needs while they settle into life in Australia.
Two of the children have recently commenced university studies and require laptops to complete their coursework and participate in online learning. Due to the family’s limited income and ongoing settlement expenses, they are unable to afford the cost of purchasing laptops.
