This young family are doing their best to rebuild stability after a prolonged period of significant hardship. Following an extended period of couch surfing, they have recently been fortunate enough to secure transitional housing, providing a much‑needed foundation after housing insecurity. The family experienced the devastating loss of their newborn child last year, which has had an ongoing emotional impact. The mother experiences anxiety and heightened concerns due to her current high‑risk pregnancy and has a significant trauma history. She continues to actively engage in counselling and therapeutic supports to address grief, trauma, and pregnancy‑related mental health needs. The family’s circumstances have recently become more challenging following the partner’s loss of employment. The family would benefit from assistance with groceries, daily essential items, household items, baby and child supplies, and school needs. Any assistance provided would make a meaningful difference.
