Mum of 3 young children (2 indigenous) is facing extreme hardship & fear for her family’s safety. Her children have complex medical needs including Type 1 diabetes, CPTSD, & significant learning difficulties, with NDIS support & large medical teams already in place.
She has a history of DV from her ex-husband, who remains financially controlling through child support. No Contact orders & injunctions are in place, yet she lives in constant fear & has never changed her address from her parents’ home for safety.
Over the past year, her current partner’s escalating aggression, verbal abuse & financial control have put her at risk again. He pressures her to return to work while demanding $550 per week for childcare, threatens to terminate their lease, & has begun verbally abusing the children. She relies solely on Carer’s payments & allowances, has no access to other funds, & is terrified she will be homeless with 3 children & unable to provide food. Immediate support is urgently needed
