22 yr old Cancer survivor trying to support herself through recovery and followup
GIVIT
She completed cancer treatment in October 2024 and was able to return home, however the impact of treatment has been significant. She attended rehabilitation where she had to relearn how to walk and rebuild her strength.
She continues to experience ongoing symptoms and significant fatigue, with suspected chronic fatigue currently under assessment.
As a result of treatment, she was placed into early menopause and is now on hormone replacement therapy. She also travels to 2 hours every three months for maintenance MRIs. All medical appointments and associated travel costs are privately funded and remain expensive.
Support in the form of food and fuel vouchers would help ease the ongoing financial strain and allow her to focus on her recovery.
