14yo teenager awaiting heart transplant, supplements required

A 14-year-old boy is currently on the transplant waitlist for a diagnosis of Dilated Cardiomyopathy. There are concern of the family's financial vulnerability and their ongoing ability to purchase Ensure Plus, a milk formula that is highly nutritious that Karam is mostly dependent on.
NDIS funds do not cover this, neither will the Hospital.
The family have limited financial resources, and the family won’t be able to afford the Ensure Plus drinks without financial support. The significant worry is that if Karam stops having his Ensure Plus, his nutritional intake will worsen and he will end up hospitalised and less robust for his transplant.
The cost to supply Ensure Plus is $198 per month.
