I am applying for financial assistance for an older person living alone who has been significantly affected by the recent bushfires. The fires caused damage to parts of her property, creating ongoing repair costs that she is struggling to manage on a limited income. In addition, she unfortunately missed out on the water tank cleaning rebate through no fault of her own, leaving her responsible for the full cost of ensuring her water supply is safe to use. These unexpected expenses have placed considerable financial pressure on her and affected her ability to maintain her home and wellbeing. Any financial assistance would greatly help her cover essential recovery costs, restore her property, and ensure continued access to safe water.
