A brave mother who has recently escaped domestic violence and has spent the past six months rebuilding her life in a women’s refuge. She is now beginning a new chapter with her three-year-old son, having just secured a safe home with a 12-month lease.
We are working to help our client and her little boy move into their unit before Christmas so they can finally celebrate the holiday in safety, stability, and peace. This fresh start means the world to them, but they are beginning with very few household items.
We are seeking donations of essential items to help them set up their new home, including:
Queen bed & linen
Towels
Children’s linen
Washing machine
fridge
Any household essentials
Her three-year-old son is a bright and energetic little boy who absolutely loves fire engines, washing machines, fridges, and anything related to household items. Any toys connected to his interests would bring him joy and comfort during this time
